I am a Game Developer & Educator experienced in teaching game development fundamentals, building real-time tools, and creating data-driven systems with high scalability factors. I have a passion for games, cutting-edge technology, and problem solving.

  • Use object-oriented programming design patterns to refactor a large existing code base in Unreal Engine. 

  • Use C++ and Blueprints to design data driven avatar customization systems and backend for the user interface. 

  • Manage and optimize a large 3D asset library. Maintain code through production, and build release versions of the game.

Real-Time Developer - Freelance

  • Led developer for in-house real-time animated production toolset in Unreal Engine with Blueprints & C++. 

  • Created character rig agnostic modular animation system to support the many unique client 3D mascots. Visual development and shader creation with Unreal material graphs. 

  • Increased turnaround time for linear animated productions by 66% ahead of the average three month schedule.

Animation / Game Design Professor

  • ​Taught accredited animation and game courses at the BFA level. Worked with the department and lead professor to develop the course curriculum for each semester. 

  • Created worksheets, presentations, and homework assignments for courses taught each week. Gave lectures in-person to groups of 30+ students. Maintained timely communication with students for mentoring and assistance on assignments. Graded homework, midterms, and final projects with rubrics and detailed feedback.

  • Designed multiple accredited BFA game art courses and materials. Taught in-person and remote lectures and live demos to groups of 15+.
